Narrative Description of Project: The main objective of the Environmental and Social Impact Assessment study was to identify significant environmental and social impacts associated with the proposed project and recommend appropriate mitigation measures for integration in all phases of the projects cycle
Description of Actual Services Provided by Our Staff: We carried out an in-depth analysis of the environmental and social baseline conditions. In this project, we focused on an outline of policy, legal, and institutional framework governing the energy sector with specific focus on power transmission. The scope of this work was to conduct an exhaustive stakeholder consultation; establishing details of significant environmental and social impacts associated with construction, operation, decommissioning, and post-decommissioning of the project. We recommended mitigation measures for environmental and social impacts and developed an Environmental Management Plan (EMP).
