Narrative Description of Project: The main objective of the ESIA was to identify significant environmental and social impacts associated with the proposed geothermal drilling project and recommend appropriate mitigation measures for integration in all phases of the project cycle

Description of Actual Services Provided by Our Staff: We carried out the identification and assessment of the compliance of project activities with statutory and internal requirements. Our focus was on the analysis of the impact of the project on the environment, facilitate management control of environmental practices, public consultation, and disclosure. At the end of the project, we developed Land Acquisition and Compensation Plan (LACP), Environmental and Social Management Plan, Resettlement Policy Frameworks and Livelihoods Restoration Plans, and a mechanism for Monitoring and Evaluating Compliance and time frame for implementing such measures.
