Narrative Description of Project: The objective of the study was to carry out a study on informal cross border trade in the selected border posts which would indicate the extent, amount and causes of informal trade in EAC, within the countries and even with trade coming from outside the region.
Description of Actual Services Provided by Our Staff: The tasks conducted included an analysis of various government policies in place with regard to informal trade, assessment of the magnitude of informal trade in EAC, analysis on major causes of informal trade in EAC region and recommending ways of reducing or eliminating cross border informal trade
