Narrative Description of Project: The main objective of the study was to assess the processing capacity needs for the tea industry so as to improve access to processing facilities. Through the study, the Tea Board of Kenya would optimize capacity utilization in the west of the Rift Valley Region and enhance compliance levels to tea manufacturing license requirements in the industry
Description of Actual Services Provided by Our Staff: The study provided information on the current and future processing capacity needs for the tea industry that will guide the Board in streamlining operations and in the management of the licensing of new tea factories in the West to ensure optimal processing capacities.
